A Home Office gets a Major Make Over

A private residence in Ipswich MA gets a major make over AND is featured on Channel 7's "Room For Improvement" - talk about luck!
The Clients goal was to have an existing, disorganized room remade into a functional, controlled atmosphere that could be utilized by Mom, Dad and twins - while doubling as a guest room.

Before

Once the clutter and chaos was removed, the carpet torn up and walls received a fresh coat of paint it was time to introduce the order.

After

The theme of the room was to utilize white furniture and accessories with warm dark brown tones and pops of color. White provides a clean pallet and adds a sense of lightness to a small multi-functional space, while the red elements add a pop of color and visual excitement.

The rearrangement of furniture allowed Dad to work at his new desk and keep an eye on the little ones. Task lighting and desk management provided an organized work surface with everyday items with-in arms reach. Stylish bins contain paper and other objects that don't need to be accessed daily.

The lounge chair provided additional seating in the room and also double as a guest bed when pulled out. Custom and existing artwork add color and personality.

How can you get a similar look: Storage, shelving and lighting by IKEA, Sleeper Sofa and window treatments by JCPenny, Desk, Task Chair, Movable Pedestals by Peabody Office Furniture.
